Jennifer Rubin at Commentary Magazine weighs in on Mitt Romney’s Sunday appearance on ABC’s “This Week,” where he denounced the “brutal crackdown” following last week’s phony vote.
As Rubin notes, Romney also looked at Obama’s shifting rhetoric on a nuclear Iran:
I am not the only one pointing out Obama’s about face on Israel. Mitt Romney has noticed the Obama flip-floppery too: “During the campaign, when he spoke to AIPAC, he said he would do everything in his power to keep Iran from having a nuclear weapon. And then he went to Cairo and said that no single nation should have the ability to deny another nation the right to have a nuclear weapon. That is an 180-degree flip of a dangerous nature. . .But that’s not right for America. That’s not right for world security.”

I was a strong supporter for Mitt Romney's nomination for President in 2008. I considered him to be the most qualified candidate of them all. And in 2012, I think Romney should DEFINITELY be the Republican candidate for President, and I am also impressed with Michelle Bachmann when I hear her speak on government matters. Wouldn't Romney and Bachmann make a strong showing for 2012? That is the team I am praying for to lead our country.

I believe that Mitt Romney should be the GOP nominee for 2012. He is as conservative as Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee are on the social issues, but on economic matters he is smarter than both of them and is more conservative than Mike Huckabee, and as for my most important issue immigration, Mitt Romney is tougher in the he supports deportation, and possibly stripping citizenship for mexicans born on American soil to parents that are here illegally, two things of which Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee take a softer approach

As per usual Governor Romneys were right on point during the "This Week" interview. Obama cleary has walked away from his full support of Isreal committment. George Steph tried to carry the company flag and suggest it was Obama's popularity that has inspired the Iranian people. I thnik the fear of Ben Net in Isreal might be a little more in the forefront of their mind. If as Obama said - "no one nation has the right to keep another nation from nuclear weaponry" then Isreal will be forced to take action. Obama is wrong on international diplomacy, our nations economy, and on health care.
